Margi Bettelyoun, AmeriCorps Director

Margi was born in Deadwood and raised in Sturgis, South Dakota. She has been married to Ivan Bettelyoun for more than 40 years; he is an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. They have three children, all of whom graduated from Red Cloud High School. Margi was a “stay-at-home mom” for 17 years, managed their family convenience store for 13 years, and worked for the United States Postal Service for 12 years. She is in her third year as AmeriCorps Director.

Erin Anderson, Volunteer Coordinator

Erin was born and raised in Hales Corners, Wisconsin. She studied International Studies and Religious Studies at the University of Dayton (Ohio). Following graduation, Erin served for three years as a Red Cloud volunteer. She then returned to Dayton to pursue a masters degree in Public Administration. This is her first year as the Volunteer Coordinator.
