Mitchell Bennett - Executive Director, Economic Development Initiative

Mitchell Bennett is Executive Director and leader of the Economic Development Initiative (EDI) at Red Cloud Indian School. Mitch is a serial entrepreneur who has led several start-up organizations to new levels of business success. In addition, Mitch served as a senior executive at several Fortune 500 companies including ADP, EDS/HP and West Corporation, leading international operations throughout Europe and Asia. Mitch’s passion is teaching new entrepreneurs the business and leadership skills necessary for achieving positive business results. Mitch obtained his degree in marketing and management at the University of Iowa and lives in Denver, Colorado with his wife and three children.

Red Dawn Foster - Business Instructor, Economic Development Initiative

Red Dawn Foster currently serves as the Business Instructor for the Red Cloud Economic Development Initiative and teaches Entrepreneurship and Economics for Red Cloud High School students. Prior to coming to Red Cloud, Red Dawn held numerous positions in business and education. Most recently she served as the Business Solutions Consultant with BlackHorse Entity focusing on economic development. She previously taught at West High School in Denver, Colorado and has a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Business Administration.  

She is passionate about working with students and introducing them to the core concepts and frameworks of sustainable business and the role it can play in improving communities.
