Lisa Swallow, joined Red Cloud Indian School in 2014 as the Director of Human Resources. Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree from Black Hills State University and is certified as a Lay Counselor. She comes to Red Cloud after working in leadership positions for more than nine years with other faith-based non-profits in the Human Services field.
Lisa finds it inspiring to work with such a devoted group of individuals to ensure future generations of Lakota people can improve their lives and those of their families and their community through a common goal of educating the mind, body and spirit.
Lisa, is a native-born Californian, yet has spent most of her life with her family in the Black Hills Region and the plains of the Pine Ridge Reservation. She says, “Coming back, is like coming home”. Lisa and her teenage son look forward to joining Red Cloud Indian School community.
