Lakota Nations Art Show
Fifteen students entered projects in Lakota nations Art Show. Nine of these students are Title 1 identified. Three of the Title 1 students worked on digital photos that were then changed using different filters from the Adobe Photoshop program. This transformation made the photos very different. They were then entered in the computer art category of the LNI Art Show. Two students chose to try a scratchboard technique for their projects. These projects required free hand drawings done on a special paper with a wooden stylus. Jodi Stoddard, Carol Krotz and Betsy Janis worked with these students during the After School Program.
