About the Instructor
Corey Whalen is the Physical Education and Athletic Director for the elementary.

Curriculum

• 6th Grade Health: Sixth graders are learning about violence prevention through the Get Real About Violence curriculum. They will also study refusal skills and communication skills.
• 7th Grade Health: Seventh graders are studying how to assess and make an improvement plan concerning their health. They will study tobacco, drugs, and alcohol.
• Physical Education: Our activities vary in the attempt of helping students become skilled at common sports such as volleyball, basketball, softball, kickball, and football. They are also working to become skilled at moving their body in space in relation to equipment manipulation and others.
