Tour the Campus

Red Cloud Indian School is happy to welcome you to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. We are a great first stop on your trip, where you will not only get a firsthand glimpse into the lives of our remarkable non-profit organization and ministry, but also an important perspective of the history of the Lakota people and culture… and the hope we have for the future of our home.

Public and private tours are free, but donations are gladly accepted so that we may continue to keep the doors open and the lights on for our 600 Lakota students and more than 800 families who we serve. The only thing we ask is that you take what you’ve learned and tell our story of hope and perseverance to your friends and families.

Public Tours

Public tours are offered daily during the summer, and include a visit to The Heritage Center, where the world-renowned Red Cloud Indian Art Show is held each summer. Dates and times of public tours vary.

Private Tours

Private tours for groups of 10 or more can be arranged by request throughout the year. One of our tour guides will introduce you to the people and places that make up Red Cloud Indian School, sharing their personal experiences on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, discussing the important education and outreach (and the success achieved!) within our school, pastoral and artistic communities, and a historical perspective of important milestones in our history.
