VIDEO: Toyota Grant Has Science Programs Blooming at Red Cloud Indian School

After receiving the news last week that Red Cloud Indian School had received a $210,000 grant from the Toyota USA Foundation aimed at supporting innovative math and science curriculum and the school's new geodesic greenhouse and lab, Reporter Kevin Woster of KELO-CBS News visited Red Cloud to see what students were up to and learn how the grant will support STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education initiatives. 

After speaking with Ted Hamilton, superintendent of Red Cloud Indian School, Woster visited with middle school students in the outdoor learning lab as they measured new plant growth, discussed plant varieties and discussed future experiments in the greenhouse-lab.
