There is a boy
and in his eyes
he doesn't see grass,
trees,
or animals running free
He sees buildings, cars,
and people walking by
muted by electronics
He looks down
to where grass used to be,
now are sidewalks and roads
where the blue sky used to lie
silently
it's now covered with a layer of
black smoke.
