Nicholas Dressel
Nick Dressel is the Principal at Red Cloud High School. As a former teacher, he has taught courses in US History, Government, and Economics. He is also a football coach. This is his 5th year at Red Cloud. Nick is originally from Windsor, Colorado. He earned a BS in Education from Chadron State College in 2002 and his MS in Education Administration from Chadron State College in 2005. His wife, Sonja, is a Counselor at Chadron,NE. They have a son, Aidan, and live in Chadron. Nick enjoys movies, music, and sports.

Clay Leonard
Clay Leonard has taught Math at Red Cloud for 18 years. Clay grew up in Colorado and now lives near White Clay, Nebraska. He earned an Associate’s Degree in Animal Science at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado, and his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at Chadron State College. Clay hosts an exchange student each year.In addition to his work as Vice Principal of Academics, Clay teaches General Math, Pre-algebra, Algebra, Algebra 3, and Calculus. He also coaches Wrestling.

April Cortier
April Cortier is the Office Manager at the High School. She has worked at Red Cloud for nine years, two as Attendance Clerk and seven as Office Manager. She earned her GED and has an Office Management Certificate. April, her husband, and their three daughters live in Pine Ridge. Her time away from her job is dedicated to her family.
