Physical Science
The physical science classes have been studying energy and motion. The first part of the current unit covered velocity, acceleration, and the forces of friction and gravity. Other topics included in the unit are momentum, air resistance, projectile motion, and thermal energy. Biology

Wendell Gehman, M.S.
Wendell Gehman has taught in the Science Department at Red Cloud for 10 years. He is currently Department Chair and teaches courses in Advanced Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology, Ethnobotany, Biology II, and Physics. Wendell is originally from Pennsylvania but moved to Pine Ridge in 1996. He and his wife, Kim, and their four children, Callie (9), Colton (7), Carson (5), and Cade (3), live on the Red Cloud campus. Wendell earned his B.S. in Science from Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania, in 1989 and his M.S. in Science from Shippensburg University in 1996. He coaches Girls’ Golf. In his free time, Wendell enjoys reading, running, and playing soccer.

Kelleigh Huff
Kelleigh Huff is currently the Sophomore Biology teacher at Red Cloud High School. This 2008-2009 school-year will be her 3rd year teaching Biology. She is married and has a 3 year old son named Sage. Some of her interests include running, singing, and playing with her son outside.

Tom Foral
Tom Foral recently joined the Red Cloud faculty as the Physical Science teacher. He also teaches Geology. Tom lives in Chadron with his wife and four children in a log home that he built himself. He is a graduate of Chadron State College with a Field Endorsement in Physical Science (7-12) Education. Tom enjoys coaching and sports. His hobbies include outdoors activities, especially hunting and fishing, and building log furniture and log homes
