Clay Leonard
Clay Leonard has taught Math at Red Cloud for 18 years. Clay grew up in Colorado and now lives near White Clay, Nebraska. He earned an Associate’s Degree in Animal Science at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado, and his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at Chadron State College. Clay hosts an exchange student each year.
In addition to his work as Vice Principal of Academics, Clay teaches General Math, Pre-algebra, Algebra, Algebra 3, and Calculus. He also coaches Wrestling.

Steve Summers
Steve Summer is one of our veteran teachers as he joined Red Cloud School in 1983. He graduated from Chadron State College after which he began his teaching carreer. He served 3 years in the military as an MP, and currently teaches math and weighlifting in our high school. His classes include Algebra I, Algebra II and weighlifting.

Mac Armelin
Mac Armelin is a first-year volunteer who teaches Geometry and Pre-Algebra. He was born and raised in Washington, DC, and has three sisters. Mac graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a Bachelor’s of Art Degree in Mathematics and Statistics and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Chemistry.
