Gifts of a paid-up life insurance policy
A supporter of Red Cloud had a life insurance policy in the amount of $100,000, with her husband as the beneficiary. He passed away last year, and she considered canceling the policy. Her husband was a compassionate man who supported Red Cloud and was impressed with the education and opportunities that Red Cloud provided the Lakota children. In his honor, she made a gift to Red Cloud Indian School of the policy, transferring ownership to Red Cloud, designating the funds to continue to provide education for the Lakota students. She received an income tax deduction for the approximate cash value of the policy.

We are very excited to announce a new drive for Campbell’s Soup Labels here at Red Cloud Indian School. Currently Red Cloud only has one LCD Projector. With several members of the staff being eager and ready to use the available technology sharing is not very easy. However with the Campbell’s labels program and your help we will be able to get a new projector by collecting Campbell’s labels for education, our goal is 102,000 labels.
