MATCHING GIFTS

Find out if you are eligible for our matching gifts program! Arranging a corporate matching gift is an easy way for you to stretch your dollar and increase the impact your contributions to Red Cloud. By taking advantage of a company's matching gift benefit, you can generate an additional gift which may double or triple your own contribution.

Basic Instructions
Each company has its own guidelines for employees to follow. Most matches are initiated by a form submitted to Red Cloud Indian School by the donor, or by a call to the company from the donor.

To find out if your company has a matching gift program and learn the specifics of requesting a match from your company, please contact your Human Resources department. They may also provide you with the required form. Then, simply fill in the necessary information and send it to Red Cloud Indian School with your gift. The gift and form will be verified by Red Cloud, and the form will be returned to your company, which will then issue a matching gift contribution to Red Cloud Indian School.

Common Questions
1.) How do I know if my company has a matching gift program? Your company's Human Resources department can tell you if your company has such a program.

2.) What does my company need from me before they'll send in a matching gift? Because each employer has specific requirements of its employees, the best source for instructions on how you should proceed is the Human Resources department at your company.

Your company may ask that you complete its form and mail it to Red Cloud Indian School along with your gift. Or your company may need a phone call from you once you have made your donation. While these two ways are the most common, your company's specific policy may have different requirements.

3.) Does my company's matching gift count toward recognition levels in the Circle of Families? In fairness to other friends of Red Cloud Indian School who work for companies that do not provide a matching gift benefit to their employees, matching gifts do not count toward minimum contribution levels.
