Red Cloud Indian School Privacy Policy
As an organization serving Lakota children and their families on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in education and parish settings, privacy is very important to us. We also respect your right to privacy and are happy to share the following policy with you.

Friends who make donations or request our email updates are put on our mailing list. From this information, we track transactions you have with us so we can better meet your needs. Please contact us at 605/867-1105 or rcgiving@redcloudschool.org if you have general questions or comments.

We do purchase names and postal addresses from other respected organizations. These groups have been carefully screened through The Direct Marketing Association.

We make select portions of our postal mailing list available to carefully screened organizations. However, you always have the option to be removed from our rental list. To keep your information private, please email us at rcgiving@redcloudschool.org or call 605-867-1105.

We use a credit card processor for donations. This company does not share or use personally identifiable information for secondary purposes.

All off-line information is securely stored and is accessible only by authorized staff.

We do not randomly collect information on our Web site, www.redcloudschool.org We gather general information regarding pages visited, time spent on each page and resources accessed. Even though this is the case, the server contains a SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), which is a security technology commonly used for encrypting information sent between users and e-commerce websites, thereby securing transactions. SSL protects data submitted over the internet from being intercepted and viewed by unintended recipients and is used by hundreds of thousands of websites in the protection of their online transactions with their customers. SSL is the industry standard internet transaction security technology. For online giving, Red Cloud Indian School solicits and collects online donations through Network for Good, which also uses the SSL technology.
