At Red Cloud Indian School, we value the opportunity to partner with foundations who are ultimately seeking similar results in their funding efforts to what we strive to achieve at Red Cloud. Through partnerships like these, our foundation friends are already supporting general operations and programming in areas such as Lakota Studies, Spiritual Formation, Counseling, Accelerated Reading and Math, Healthy Meals, and others. In FY07, RCIS raised approximately 10% of its operating budget from generous grants from foundations, up 30% from the previous year. By continuing to diversify our funding sources and composition, Red Cloud is working very hard to ensure that our fundraising expenses are minimized and that your dollars go further.
