Red Cloud Indian School to usher in academic year with welcome event, picnic Red Cloud Elementary School and Red Cloud High School will welcome the new academic year with a Back to School Open House on Wednesday, September 1. The event will begin with a cookout at 4:30 p.m., followed by an all-school open house at 5:30 p.m. “One of my favorite parts of the academic year is our Back to School celebration,” says Robin Johnson, dean of students. “It’s not only a great opportunity to share with our Red Cloud families all of the services and programming offered throughout the year—it’s a great way for all of us to meet one another, to put faces to names and set goals that will ensure this is an outstanding year for our students.
