Not to worry, you're at the right place! The website's just going through a "face lift" (if you will). Throughout the coming weeks, www.redcloudschool.org will be undergoing a redesign implementation, thanks to the combined efforts of the Development Office and freelance web designer Ted Stephens III of Gainesville, Florida. The redesign marks a long-standing relationship between Red Cloud and Stephens, whom assisted in the development of their website three years ago. "As the needs of our institution grow, so must our presence on the world wide web," says Matthew P. Ehlman, vice president of development. "Over the past few months, we have been exploring ways to enhance both the image and content of Red Cloud's website, and after careful consideration, have come up with this strategy." The new site maintains much of the old navigation, while providing additional options for users, in particular donors, students, parents, alumni and artists. The homepage also has additional space for news and events, and includes a special area that will highlight the good work of the people who both work at, and support, Red Cloud. (Currently, new high school principal Nick Dressel is highlighted). Implementation of the new site should be completed by the first week of August. In the meantime, enjoy the enhancements and bear with us through the "construction." |
