Twiss leads Red Cloud in region 4A golf Red Cloud's Mike Twiss scored an 82 and finished in a tie for fourth to earn his second straight trip to the State A golf tournament. Montana Sierra also qualified for state. Red Cloud's team included Twiss 82, Sierra 96, Geoffrey Black Feather 100 and Lyle Jack 123. Twiss was the top local finisher at state last year as a sophomore finishing with an 84, 88 for 172 and a tie for 22nd. As a freshman, Sierra tied for 71 st with a 99, 98 for a 197. The State A golf tournament is set for Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2 at the Pine Hills Golf Course in Milbank.
